Leilani, a lone traveller, seeks sanctuary on a distant Caribbean island. Things take an unexpected turn when she encounters Ariel, the island’s enigmatic sole resident, who appears to have a hidden motive.

What begins as a fragile connection slowly becomes something darker and more consuming, pulling Leilani deeper into the unforgiving nature of the island.

Written and directed by Tamara James-Dickson, Wicked Fridays is an atmospheric horror-thriller and tense two-hander about entrapment, obsession and the dangers of ownership. Blending psychological and supernatural horror, the play asks: who is Ariel, why has he chosen Leilani, and will she find peace or lose herself to the unknown?

Wicked Fridays premiered at the Etcetera Theatre in September 2025 before transferring to Theatre Deli in October 2025, where it received rave audience reviews.
