The Party and the Guests: Dressed Bodies in Motion Drawing Workshop

A drawing workshop to celebrate 20 years of the Fashion in Film Festival organised by festival partner Margaret and Life Drawing Daze, with looks styled by Jo Simpson, stylist and Senior Lecturer at UAL.

Rather than a conventional life drawing class, the session will feature a series of looks created by former Central St Martins’ students showcased by a model moving through quick poses.  Drawing on long strips of paper rather than single sheets, participants will build up their sketches frame by frame, so the drawings together make up a film inspired sequence of the dressed body in motion.

The workshop is inspired by one of the festival's special programmes, Animated into Being: First Dressed Bodies in Motion, screening at Ciné Lumière on Sunday 6 December 2026.

The session is unled and open to all levels. Ticket price includes drawing materials
