Tattooed On My Leg
By Will B. Russell, with Poetry by George Russell
Two brothers, living and dead, exist in a liminal realm after one brother dies from a drug overdose. A raw, poetic, music-soaked story about addiction, grief and love.
Tattooed On My Leg is non-linear, absurd and funny in places it shouldn't be, much like grief. It moves through poetry and prose, with the music of South London band Phobophobes, seeking compassion for a corner of society that is constantly misunderstood and demonised. Revelling in the things we fear the most, it refuses to resolve neatly, reaching, again and again, for someone both gone and impossibly close.
