POSITIVE MALE INFLUENCE (WIP)

Alice and Liv have very different perspectives on things, being a foot apart in height. But now, they finally have something in common: their dead Dads!!!

This is a comedy about losing the main man in your life when you are not one, and how the hell you’re supposed to connect with him when he’s - checks notes - deceased. It’s about how we go about finding that thing he left behind. That… Masculinity? That… Security? That… Positive Male Influence?

Together, Alice and Liv are going to hunt for it. Maybe they’ll find it in the silence between two men as they stare into space over a pint. Or between a looksmaxxing Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket. Or on a fishing trip, at a football camp, watching Marx Brothers clips or even, even in the way Take That perform the choreography to ‘Pray’ in their 2024 tour: eerily, but with real aplomb.

Alice and Liv have lost something but together, they WILL find it. And if nothing else, they’ll sing a close harmony rendition of a Simon and Garfunkel song that absolutely no one has asked for. After all, isn’t that what their Dads would’ve done?
