Shoreside Productions’ Scratch Night

Shoreside Productions’ Scratch Night

Storytelling manifests in a myriad of ways—on the page, the stage, through movement, sound, or silence. Sometimes, words aren’t enough, and expression comes alive through the body. Shoreside Productions’ Scratch Night is an evening of six short, work-in-progress performances, ranging from new writing and dance to puppetry and more. Featuring artists and companies at different stages of their careers, this event is a space for creativity, experimentation, and pushing the boundaries of performance.

We programmed pieces that explore personal identity, human relationships, and social issues such as climate change, migration, and women's bodily autonomy. Through compelling performances, we dive into self-discovery, complex emotions, and the unspoken, inviting audiences into bold conversations and fresh perspectives.

Join us for a night of storytelling that sparks connection, challenges ideas, and explores the threads that link us all.
