COURSE DESCRIPTION

An introduction to theatre health and safety to ensure everyone working on your production is protected.

Ideal for creatives and producers who want to know more about how they can cultivate a safe enviornment for their team.

This course will cover basic theatre health and safety, legislation you need to know, how to navigate insurance, ladder and rigging safety, risk assessments and how to write one, and more.

 

COURSE DETAILS

This course will run from 10am-4pm with a break for lunch and Q&A at the end.

 

YOUR COURSE LEADER

Rebecca Lyon has worked as a theatre technician for over 10 years including venues such as Drayton Arms Theatre, Etcetera Theatre, Omnibus, the Pleasance, Charing Cross Players and at both Edinburgh and Brighton Fringe. She also designs and delivers courses for an online training company which specialises in facilities management.
