Poor Shirley Must Make Her Escape

Poor Shirley Must Make Her Escape

Two strangers board the same train carriage traveling from Ljubljana to Budapest. Kieran is a food writer, disenfranchised from several failed attempts at a career, enjoying a pause from the daily grind of the freelance lifestyle. Shirley is a hospitality worker, re-training in her dream degree, anxious that she has fallen into the wrong relationship. However, she has confronted these fears at a calamitous moment, and fled from her life and responsibilities in such a dramatic way that she may never be able to return. Together, Kieran and Shirley unspool what led Shirley to board the train, and how she can prepare to face what waits for her at the next destination.
