Changing Rooms

Genevieve is alone in a changing room, writing fan fiction. Loser. But someone has taken her notebook, and it has to have been one of the four girls intent on ruining her life. They’re going to find all the bad poetry and love letters to Jack (that boy everyone wants) and all of the terrible things she’s said about the girls themselves, so naturally her life is over. She has to get that notebook back, and she has to get her period, and she has to understand the meaning of life and being a woman, and she has to unpack the deeply instilled nature of female stereotypes, and she has an hour to do it. If it didn’t sound like teenage angst, she’d say that’s a lot for a fifteen year old to do by herself.
