Birds Of Passage
Written by Marcia Kelson
Directed by Penny Gkritzapi
Emma, Bill and Sandra book a holiday to the beautiful Greek island of Zandros, expecting sun, sea and souvlaki. But as disturbing events unfold on the beach, tourists, locals and a mystery arrival find themselves caught up in an escalating humanitarian crisis.
A new play exploring the complex relationship between tourism and the refugee crisis. The play gradually exposes and challenges pre-conceptions and in-built prejudices with humour, hard-hitting themes and unexpected twists.
